Crafty Bastards Weekend Extravaganza
Just a reminder that I will be selling my “wears” at the 5th Annual Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair this Sunday, September 28th from 10am-5pm at the Marie Reed Learning Center in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC.
Check out all the Crafty Bastards that will be selling their handmade wares.
You can even devise your shopping plan of attack with the festival map, which includes the complete vendor booth listing. The first 5,000 shoppers will receive a free Crafty Bastards tote bag to help carry all their crafty purchases!
More than 25,000 people are expected to attend this event, so come early before the crowds get too bad.
In the meantime, stop by the Crafty blog to read about products that should not be missed, vendor interviews, event related announcements and lots more.
Then come Sunday, look for me and my banner (below) in Booth 40, near the entertainment pit (yipee!).
Hope to see you there!

“The Devil” is Pretty
Just before I left for vacation, the editor of Belle Armoire magazine, Jenny Doh, contacted me and said she wanted to feature some of my work in their magazine. If you’ve never seen Belle Armoire, it’s a gorgeous glossy magazine with international distribution. French for “beautiful wardrobe,” Belle Armoire® has the tagline “Art to Wear” and showcases “one-of-a-kind, handmade fashions and wearable-art projects.” Um, that sounds like my work. So look for the article in the January ‘09 issue! The pictures should be impressive.
